The Danish Translator’s Prize 2008 – Call for Nominations

In 2008 the Committee has decided to focus on Spain.

In connection with this focus, the Literature Committee wishes to present the Danish Translator’s Prize 2008 to a translator of Danish literature into Spanish or to a publisher or other instance that furthers Danish literature and which has made a special contribution on behalf of Danish literature in Spanish translation.

The Literature Committee’s focus on Spain will highlight Danish literature via author presentations with readings and other arrangements relevant to Danish writing and its translation in Spain.

Nominations for the prize can, as specified in the foundation’s statutes, come from associations of writers and translators, publishers, booksellers, critics, and professors of Danish and Danish agencies in Denmark or in other countries.
